The first phase of the project is focused on mapping information about platform workers (i.e. the basic population). It is essential to define a digital platform, verify the availability of official data relating to digital platforms, and – last but not least – identify the entities that meet the definition of a digital platform. STEM is working on the following activities:
- Approaching key stakeholders in public administration who are responsible for data collection in areas related to the labor market and verifying the current situation in the data domain in relation to the issue of digital platforms;
- Establishing a definition of a digital platform, based on methodological guidelines (particularly) at the European level;
- Identifying digital platforms offering services in the Czech Republic and subsequently contacting them with a request for cooperation.
This project is co-financed from the state budget by the Technology agency of the Czech Republic under the SIGMA Progamme.
