Markéta Švarcová is a researcher based at the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Her research focuses on gender inequalities in the labor market, with a particular emphasis on entrepreneurship. She is the author of the monograph Women entrepreneurs?, which examines the precarious position of self-employed women in the Czech Republic. She is a member of the COST P-WILL Platform Work Inclusion Living Lab, where she focuses on the platform economy. Currently, she is a co-investigator in the Horizon-funded project GILL – Gendered Innovation Living Labs. Additionally, she co-authored the podcast series Platforms on the edge. She teaches the course Gender in the Czech Republic and Europe and Civic Engagement and Social Issues at CIEE Prague.
Alžběta Mangarella – investigator, alzbeta.mangarella@soc.cas.cz

Alžběta Mangarella is a researcher at the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences. She received her PhD in economics from Université Paris 10, has worked at research institutes in France and Germany, and focuses on inequalities in the labor market. She is a member of the COST P-WILL Platform Work Inclusion Living Lab. She co-authored the podcast series Platformy na hraně (Platforms on the Edge).
Hana Hašková – investigator, hana.haskova@soc.cas.cz

Hana Hašková is a senior researcher at the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences and teaches at Charles University in Prague. Her research focuses on the gendered aspects of work-life balance, parenting, precarious work, and related policies and discourses. She employs qualitative and quantitative research methods. She is the author of several books and publishes in international peer-reviewed journals such as European Journal of Industrial Relations, Journal of Youth Studies, Journal of Family Studies, Journal of Family Research, Social Inclusion, Advances in Lifecourse Research, Social Policy and Administration.
Sabina Vassileva – investigator, sabina.vassileva@soc.cas.cz

Sabina Vassileva is a PhD student at Charles University Prague and a junior researcher based at the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Her research interests include medical anthropology and anthropology of work and technologies. She employs qualitative methodology and feminist STS approaches—mainly material semiotics and queer theory. She has published her work in Sextant, Revue de recherche interdisciplinaire sur le genre et la sexualité and Archivio anthropologico meditteraneo. Jaromír Mazák – senior analyst, jaromir.mazak@stem.cz

As a sociologist, Jaromír specialises in civic and political participation, as well as social cohesion. At STEM, he is responsible for developing new research topics. Previously, he worked at Charles University, specialising in political sociology, statistics, and data analysis as a researcher and university lecturer. He also earned his PhD in Sociology from the same institution. He completed an internship at Oxford University for two semesters and led several projects focused on impact evaluation.
Kateřina Duspivová – senior analyst, katerina.duspivova@stem.cz
Kateřina has long been involved in socio-economic issues, particularly the labour market, and her work overlaps with economics, social issues, education and modern technologies. She has experience working in the private, non-profit and public sectors. She specialises in the intersection of data, social issues, and public policy. In this project, she is responsible for the quantitative and analytical aspects of the research and is involved in communicating the results.
Doris Borovcová – analyst, doris.borovcova@stem.cz

Doris is an analyst at STEM, specialising in socioeconomic and demographic issues. She previously worked at the Czech Statistical Office for several years, specialising in employment in industry and construction. She is currently focusing on issues related to the non-profit sector, political behaviour and electoral models. In this project, she is responsible for the quantitative research and analysis.
