Alžběta Mangarella took part in a panel discussion on precarious work at Future Camp 2025. She presented work for digital platforms in the broader context of trends in the Czech and European labor markets, along the problems of dependent (bogus) self-employment and the growing reach of algorithmic management. With the upcoming transposition of the European Directive on platform work, Alžběta emphasized the role of trade unions and broader civil society in raising awareness of the working conditions of platform workers and in pushing for a meaningful transposition of the directive into Czech legislation.
