Markéta Švarcová and Alžběta Mangarella presented their research at the 9th International Network on Digital Labour (INDL-9) conference in Geneva, held in the framework of the International Labour Organization (ILO).
In a panel focusing on platform work, algorithmic management and gender, they presented findings from the ongoing research project Platform Workers in the Czech Labour Market. Their presentation explored how platform work and new forms of digital management are debated and regulated in the Czech Republic.
The conference provided an important space for international exchange and discussion on the changing nature of work in the context of digitalisation, algorithms and artificial intelligence. It also offered an opportunity to present Czech research to an international academic audience.
