Upcoming International Conference on Platform Work Regulation in Prague

Members of the research team, Alžběta Mangarella and Markéta Švarcová, are organizing the international conference Mapping the Transformation: Intersectional Analysis of Platform Work and the Shifting Labor Landscape as part of the P-WILL COST Action network and in collaboration with the University of New York in Prague.

This interdisciplinary conference addresses the ongoing transformation of platform work and its implications for labour relations, regulatory frameworks, and labour market structures across Europe. Particular attention will be devoted to the implementation of the Platform Work Directive and its effects in different national contexts, examined through a feminist and intersectional lens.

The conference will take place in a hybrid format, both on-site in Prague at UNYP and online. We warmly invite researchers, practitioners, policymakers, institutional representatives, and everyone interested in the future of digital labour to join this important international discussion, including through online participation.

The event offers a unique opportunity to engage with leading European scholars and experts, exchange perspectives on current developments in platform work, and contribute to debates on the future of work in the digital economy.
